About Me.
Al Felder is a veteran educator, gospel preacher, and passionate advocate for both meaningful education reform and biblical truth. With over 17 years of experience in the classroom and school leadership, Al has taught middle and high school history—including Advanced Placement courses—and served as a special education inclusion teacher. Diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, he received intensive therapy from third through fifth grade, an experience that shaped his empathy for struggling learners and fueled his lifelong commitment to student-centered education.
Al holds a Specialist in Education Leadership from William Carey University. Through writing, speaking, and school-based work, he advocates for what truly matters in education: the students, the teachers, and the belief that learning is more than just a test score.
In addition to his work in education, Al has faithfully preached the gospel of Christ for over 30 years. He obeyed the gospel in his early twenties after learning the truth as taught in the Scriptures and has since dedicated his life to proclaiming God’s word. Al has preached and held gospel meetings in multiple states and currently serves as an elder in the Lord’s church in Monticello, Mississippi. His preaching and leadership are rooted in a deep respect for biblical authority and a heartfelt desire to lead souls to Christ.
Al is a devoted husband, father of four, proud grandfather, and father-in-law to two sons-in-law. Through his books, he seeks to uplift, restore, and reaffirm both educational integrity and the divine pattern for the church as revealed in the Bible—calling readers back to truth, purpose, and simplicity.
